This is a piece of a Japanese Zero that was cut from the plane and given out at Wright Field on May 27, 1945 when you bought a certain amount of war bonds. There was a big Army Air Forces Fair and Air Show that helped sell for the 7th loan. The air show still happens today. It ready “souvenir from j** zero, 7th war loan, wright field, Dayton Ohio”. One of the most unique homefront items we have ever seen, and have never seen before.
