Coming Soon! Captured 2-Man Jap Sub Exhibition
An incredibly rare WWII poster promoting a traveling exhibit of a captured 2 man Japanese submarine. This sub was captured at Bellows Field, HI the day after the attack on Pearl Harbor. Kazuo Sakamaki and Kiyoshi Inagaki were the men on board and were captured. It was paraded around the country to help sell war bonds. The submarine is on permanent display at the National Museum of the Pacific War in TX. We can only find one other example of this rare poster, in the Bangor Public Library archives.
