Great piece of music and NJ history here. This poster from 1969 promotes Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons 1 day only performance at the Steel Pier in Atlantic City, NJ. This performance was likely promoting their new album, The Genuine Imitation of Life. We believe this poster is from 1969 as they only performed in AC in the 1960s and 70s, and August 31st was only on a Sunday in 1969 and 1975, but the 1975 show was promoted as a 7 day show, in 1969, it was just 1 day. We have never seen this poster before, and can’t find another like it anywhere.
Measures 22x28”
Condition- very good. Staining, small chips, toning. NJ state fair poster on verso. Screen print.
