Original concept art form William Erwin Eisner for a poster in the famous Joe Dope series from WWII. (Actual poster featured in last picture, not included). William was an American cartoonist, writer, and entrepreneur. He was one of the earliest cartoonists to work in comic books as well. The Joe Dope series always featured Private Joe screwing something up and ignoring safety measures. This particular poster was about Joe not checking his air pressure which lead to a blow out in a jungle surrounded by stereotypical axis troops. Amazing, one of a kind.

Condition- good, cardstock, skimming in corners and at bottom, some staining. Heavy crease down center, reinforced with tape on verso.
