Three Of A Kind Make It Right The First Time General Cable Co.
A HUGE anti axis WWII poster put out by General Cable Company. This rare poster was printed in 1943 for their factories. General Cable made a book about their posters called “Fight Talk”, which lists them all along with the number that were printed of each. Some common ones that were distributed across the county had a print run of 35-50,000. The large posters like this one were exclusive to their 4 factories. This particular poster only had a print run of 5,000 making it one of the rarest finds we have ever come across. A lot of people selling general cable “posters” will simply cut the pages out of the fight talk book and pass them off as posters, which they are not. This poster like many others from General Cable discourages waste in scrap metal. You’ll likely never see another one of these.
Measures 39.5x58.75”
Condition- very good on linen. Restored paper loss left side, not into image. Two restored tears on right and left side near the middle.
