An anti axis WWII poster promoting scrap drives, notably for metal and rubber, to help defeat the enemy. Shows two young boys hurling a pot at the enemy. The artist behind the poster is William Steig, who famously created the Dreamworks Character Shrek. Shrek 2 was named in his honor just after his death. Stieg also famously wrote for the New Yorker starting in 1930.

Condition- very good on linen. Linen has been trimmed right to the edge of the poster. Some small repaired tears, restored loss upper right hand corner.
