An absolutely amazing poster featuring a black and white factory worker shaking hands and working together to keep em flying!! We cannot find a single other example of this anywhere. Measures 12.5x9.75”. This poster is part of an Abbott Labs advertising portfolio, of which only 630 were produced. All were made and personally signed by Dale Nichole who worked for the company. Many of the posters have an image with the slogan “what’s new” followed by information of Abbots new products. This features every advertisement Abbot put out from January-July of 1943. lots of anti axis and Homefront examples are inside. Each one was pasted down in the corners. Some, like this one feature of the black and white worker are posters with blank backs. Others were used as magazine ads or they were covers of medical pamphlets that they distributed amongst doctor and dentist offices. An amazing collection. Condition- all posters, pamphlets, covers etc. we’re pasted down in the corners of each page. Some patriotic and medical articles are in here as well but are attached to the seam.
