An extremely rare early war Japanese printed leaflet that would be dropped over US troops on islands such as Wake and over the US occupied Philippines. It was also used as an actual poster. Note the term Doughboys. US soldiers were known as Doughboys in WWI, so the Japanese used the term for this poster assuming they still were. They weren’t, so they stopped after this was produced to the best of our knowledge.

Measures 9x13”.

Condition- some outlined “Hello Doughboys” and the skull in pencil, otherwise excellent. Linen backed
