An extremely rare holy grail of WWII posters. Your Courage Your Cheerfulness Your Resolution was printed by the Ministry of Information as part of a series of 4 posters, including “Keep Calm and Carry On”, “Freedom Is in Peril- Defend It With All Your Might” and “Don’t help the enemy, careless talk may give away vital secrets”. An estimated 1 million copies of each poster in the series were printed in different sizes in 1939, to be posted throughout the country. Some were posted up, but the campaign was quickly cancelled due to public outcry towards the slogans as they sounded condescending to the common man against the political elites (Your Courage will Bring Us Victory). The unposted copies were shredded and only a few survived that were actually brought out into the public. beyond scarce.
