Interesting amateur WWII poster for the U.S. 8th Air Force, honoring “our old man”, Sgt. A.M. Gallardo. Given the text at the bottom, this poster came out of Burtonwood Air Force Base in the European Theater. The date would be for mission 290 fought along with the 635th Tank Destroyer Battalion for the allied invasion of France. It is not original art, but rather a print of what must have been an incredibly small run.
Measures 19x29.5”
Condition- excellent, pin holes in corners.
