Extremely rare post WWII notice for those who posses or control German Or Japanese property owned by citizens of said countries not residing in the United States. The Alien Property Custodian is appointed directly by the president. They are appointed in time of war to take charge of the property of alien enemies. The APC amassed tons of enemy property, patents, trademarks, etc during WWII. James E. Markham, appointed by Truman, coordinated investigations into the true ownership of enemy properties seized in this country during the war. This poster helped track down those who could assist or had any knowledge of enemy owned properties. We cannot locate a single other example of this rare poster.
