I Want You James Montgomery Flagg
The world famous James Montgomery Flagg “I Want You” poster with a unique extension added to the bottom for Charles A. Eaton Co. Founded in Brockton, MA in 1876. During WWI, the C.A. Eaton Co. becomes one of the largest manufacturers of boots and shoes for allied troops. So they took the famous poster and added their own personal message for their factory workers. We have never seen anything like it before!
PRICE INCLUDES LINEN BACKING- Measures approximately 30x57”
Condition- good, several tears repaired with acid free archival tape on verso. Staining, some crumpling, and paper loss. Bottom of original poster missing and replaced with extension. ALL ISSUES WILL BE FIXED WITH LINEN BACKING
